girl i have ukrainian friends and sometimes when i forgot a certain word in ukrainian i said it in russian and they were okay with it? i don't support russia, but there are countries where russian IS spoken + there are many russian learners/non-native speakers
even as a non-ukrainian myself, it’s still so triggering hearing other non-ukrainian people talk about the russian language and russia so casually without knowing anything about the war…i can’t even imagine what ukrainians must feel every day
Italian is such a divine language and I'm so in love with it 🥹🥹 and all my Italian moots on here are extremely cute and sweet and it makes learning this lang even better ah vi amo raga
the fact that I can actually understand and speak Italian drives me mad like what do you mean all these pretty words and sounds actually have some meaning and I'm able to seize it?????
funny how pierogi is actually a plural form and americans saying "pierogies" are basically making a plural of a plural form (the singular of pierogi is pieróg)
