🙌 “Everyone at Wardens Trust is enormously grateful for the grant support we have received from the Sizewell C Community Fund. It will help us continue to deliver our essential support services to the elderly and disabled in our local community.” Dr Alexander Gimson, the chair of the Wardens Trust, speaks about receiving the Sizewell C Community fund and what it will mean to their charity. As part of the second round of the Sizewell C community fund, the Wardens Trust was awarded £122,507 over three years to support more local people who are disadvantaged, disabled or socially isolated by arranging lunch clubs and music events. The Wardens Trust is one of 11 organisations awarded funding in the second round of the Sizewell C Community Fund, totalling more than £1.1M has been granted to charities and not-for-profit groups, from local community projects to musical festivals. These grants, part of the £23M Sizewell C Community Fund, bring the total awarded so far to £1.4M, supporting projects in Leiston, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, and nearby areas – the communities most impacted by the construction. 🔋 We’re proud to support the launch of the Energy Advice Hub in Leiston, the home of our project.
