It's taken a while, but I've finally landed on a deck that I'm really happy with into the set 4 meta.
The concept is simple. Cut the narrow cards from GS, shift the curve up, and cut almost every bad topdeck.
This is Big Bucks. No terrible match ups. Lots of good ones.

Deck 1: 🧹PS BroomBounce🧙♂️
It wouldn't be right to start with anything other than brooms!
Most of the good broom support cards have powerful on-play effects, so I think it's a slam dunk to play them alongside the purple bounce package!

deck 2: 🟢Beast Combo⚪️
Send Beast to the Bayou, quest to draw and discard, shoot something for 1 with Sheriff, ready your beast, and repeat.
Add in Ursula plus an amazing package of songs and you've got a very very solid midrange deck with a combo finish.

The godmothers are out for evasive Minnie. This list feels super tight, and it's also very affordable.
Zero legendaries. Only 4 super rares. And VERY capable of beating everything i've come up against so far.

The Mufasa deck got tons of potential upgrades in set 4. There are a lot of different ways to build it now, but this is where I'm starting out.
Gaston enables some really nasty turn 4 plays, and Julietta gives us more card draw than ever!

Be Prepared, A Whole New World, Grab Your Sword. Many of the strongest cards in the game are songs.
We've been waiting a long time for this kind of effect, and having it stapled to a character is great.

I'm a few days late to the new ladder season, but had a very productive first day today at 29W 6L with a slightly updated Amethyst/Emerald tempo build. Also cracked 1.5k ELO at the end of the session.
The deck is an absolute blast and massively rewarding to play.

RB's new removal options in set 4 have made a great deck even better. Ice blocks help your Sisus and Medusas do huge work!
Lots of room to flex card choices here, but this is where I am currently.

Deck 14: 🐐RP Aggro🏰
Every set I always spend some time trying to find an aggro deck capable of going under the most popular decks. This is the best i've found so far.
Between Goofy, spellbook, locations and goat you have tons of ways to burn opponents out!

When preparing for tournaments, some players like to take multiple decks with them and make a last-minute decision about what to play based on who’s in the room.
To keep myself flexible, I always have two decks in my backpack: Foil hyper aggro, and non-foil hyper aggro 😤🐐

The Lorcana metagame is very diverse at the moment. You can play:
Amber/Steel songs: A strong midrange deck that uses Tinker Bell and Grab your Sword to control the board, and Beast and A Whole New World to draw an unbeatable number of cards.

Deck 3: 🐙GY Songs🧜♀️
I've seen a few different people working on very similar lists to this over the last couple of days!
The Muses really shine in this deck, and the Kida + UTS combo provides a huge one-sided board wipe out of nowhere!

Finally got to play a set championship today and got it done with 💚💜!
Made some small tweaks to the list for maximum consistency, and very happy with the result. Pascal overperformed.

Deck 5: 🦸♂️BS Heroes🦸♀️
This started as an experiment to try and find a home for the new piglet, and the deck performed surprisingly well.
Philoctetes gives the deck a ton of reach, and the new Annas give you some really aggressive openings!

deck 3: 🟣Ame/Steel Jafar⚪️
Amethyst/Steel Floodborn decks were already good in set 2. Jafar gives them a great new finisher and unmatched reach.
If you enjoy bounce action and goating your way to victory, this is where i'd start in set 3.

Deck 4: 🐙GS Discard🦜
This is the deck I have played the most games with so far, and it feels incredible. The Muses is such a powerful addition to GS discard.
Turn 3 Ursula into turn 4 Muses enables you to remove up to 4 characters. Absolutely crazy.

Deck 17: 🧊Sisu on Ice🐉
Since this deck emerged a couple of weeks ago, it's matured a little into the list you see below. Most players seem to have settled on something pretty close to this.
Alongside GS Bucky, RB is the other major force in the set 4 metagame.

GS Bucky is very, very powerful. Lots of flexibility, but this is the version I've had the best record with!

I love drawing 4 cards with friends or bouncing 2 characters using MKB with Ursula. I think a tempo deck like this has a real shot at being viable this set.

Bucky Discard has felt a full tier above anything else that I’ve played.
Say I’m overreacting, say that people will solve the problem in time, say whatever you like. I am convinced Bucky is a design mistake and ban conversations should start sooner rather than later.
A lot of people said that I was prematurely being negative about what set 4 meta has in store for us but I think it’s becoming clear what we are headed towards… May the best Rock Paper Scissors player win Chicago 🫡

Deck 12:🟣Zef's Amethyst Steel Mill⚪️
Zef's at it again with another deck that's not just creative, it's also an amazing meta call.
The mill plan is great vs control, and the steel core is great versus aggro.
Made minor tweaks based on personal preference.

deck 7: 🔴Ruby Amethyst Locations🟣
The general consensus seems to be that this what the future of RA probably looks something like this.
Putting a castle or RLS Legacy into play with Jim creates a huge tempo swing that's tough to recover from.

Here it is. This should be one of the most impactful cards in Into the Inklands.
It's more versatile than Ursula, grabbing more than just songs out of the opponent's hand.
But, it's mostly going to be used for the same reasons: Stopping timely Be Prepareds, Swords, and AWNWs.

There's a special place in my heart for a turn 3 Jim Hawkins into RLS Legacy. The new Gaston gives us another way to make it happen, and so far, big locations are feeling very strong in the new meta.

A first look at the new mechanic 'Resist'. At first glance, it seems very strong, with the potential to warp the playability of small characters.

deck 6: 🔴Ruby Mufasa🟡
It's no secret that I love every kind of Mufasa deck, but the original still feels like the best to me in set 3.
Pluto makes this deck way more explosive than it was previously, and Bare Necessities makes the list much more resilient.

Deck 10: 🍭BS Items🔮
With the addition of Fortisphere, BS provides an alternative to RB ramp with a little bit more "combo" potential, and the option to reset hands with AWNW which can help against discard.
If you enjoy drawing cards, this deck does a LOT of it.

With lots of song/action-based decks around, Tiana looks great right now.
The AS Tiana decks from last set gain even more tools to stop BP and GYS, so I think they get a lot better in set 3.

The Queen's Castle is one of the most powerful locations spoiled so far.
Inkable, high willpower, 2 lore gained per turn, cheap movement cost, and a very relevant ability.

Deck 9: 🐰RP🦊
Similar to RB, RP decks gained some much-needed early removal options this set.
I don't think too much needs to change with how these decks were built before. Just drop brawl and some number of Sisus, which both feel necessary right now.

Undefeated at locals tonight with this Am/St songs deck.
Threw a lot of different stuff at the wall, and overall happy with what stuck!
Key underperformers were Stitch 5 and AWNW. A few bits to iron out for next week!

Hyper aggro decks like this are thriving right now, and feasting on greedy item decks.

was the first I came across playing this type of deck, so credit goes there. This is my tweaked super linear version.

deck 13: 🔵JechtShot's Ame/Sa🟣
Of all the decks in the t16 of this weekend's tournament, this is the spiciest by far! No pawpsicle package, no goat, no removal. Just ramping, bouncing, and big bodies.
I love it when lists like this can break through!

Deck 14: 🔵Wardborn🟢
A bit of a fun one today. With all of the strong targeted removal around at the moment, ward characters are in a pretty good position.
This deck shifts into big floodborn and ward characters fast, while applying pressure with Bucky too!

Deck 15: 🟡Hyper Aggro🟣
The fastest deck in the game has got even faster this set.
It's as weak to steel as it's ever been, but once you get good at sequencing threats, this deck can take games off pretty much anything, incredibly quickly.

Competitively, I’m very high on Em/Ru evasive this week. Detailed reasoning in the thread below.
Here’s the build I’m currently running. Really warming up to John Silver as a card. Gothels are a flex slot and should likely just be more 2/3-drops.

Back from vacation and straight back to business! A nice 9-1 game run with this tweaked version of Amb/Ame midrange. Loss was to Ame/Em tempo.
The deck is an absolute blast to play, and had very little trouble winning 5 games versus Amb/Steel songs. Excited to get more games in!

Deck 6: 🐙GP Tempo🦜
I spent most of the last set playing GP, and this is the updated version i'm currently on. Some are cutting Ursula 3, but I still like running a couple and don't want to move away from it completely yet.

Quick deck update: Pulled off an undefeated run at the start of the new season with this tweaked version of Amethyst/Ruby Arthur loop!
Deck carried me in the race to Grandmaster! Enjoying what will likely be a very short-lived spell at rank 1 😂

Deck 18: 🦀BS Items🔧
BS doesn't have a great RB matchup, but lines up better vs GS than most other decks, so it's got a lot of eyes on it now.
Lots of flexibility to this too. You can play hook/Smee, additional removal, or even tech cards like Triton's Decree.

Back to the game after a week away and getting a feel for how the format has moved on. One thing feels clear - it's still easy to go under a lot of decks with aggro.
+50 points in a couple of hours this morning with this very aggressive build of 🔴🟣. T+As for aggro mirrors.

After loving the Ame/Amb aggro deck, i've been experimenting with different colors, and this one feels like a great option.
Also been pushing the uninkables in these aggro decks. Didn't mind 20 here at all.

One standout list from the

Denver t8 was Sam Cahill's innovative Amber/Amethyst deck.
Amethyst's chunky characters get you ahead on board early, and Amber's threats help you keep the pressure up.
Today i'm experimenting with this tweaked list.

Deck 14: 🔴Ru/Em Evasives🟢
3-cost Minnie heads up some great additions to the evasive deck. If you can pull ahead with some of these evasive characters, your opponents will find it very hard to catch up.

I love R/A Mufasa, but i wanted to experiment with something more explosive that might be better positioned against steel. This version ramps harder to get ahead of sweepers and makes the most of Cogsworth.
Hovering at around 70% WR in high GM.

Finished today's Pack tournament at 4-2-3, which I'm overall very happy with. Had a chance to sneak into the top 16 if I 2-0'd the last round, but just missed.
Stuck close to my regular GS list and felt good about the choice.

At the end of the last ranked season I decided to give bo1 a rest and take a shot at the hardcore ladder instead.
After a few days, I just managed to crack the top 25 on my alt account. Almost all games were played with my current version of GP tempo. Love the deck.

Deck 7: 🌰GS Bucky🐙
So far, the set 4 meta looks filled with aggressive discard decks. GS Bucky provides a discard deck option with a strong matchup into more aggressive builds.
The raw card quality in this deck is insane.

Deck 13: 🔵Steel No-wheel⚪️
Nothing can match up to 🔵🔴in card draw, but the deck gets blasted by aggro.
This steel version has a better aggro MU and plays like the Steel Wheel decks from TFC, but refills its hand with the Pawpsickle package rather than AWNW.

Deck 17:🟣Ame/Em Discard🟢
Lured in by the promise of bouncing and replaying Lucifer, i came up with this list. It's felt great, especially against 🟣🔴 control.
Struggles a little versus steel, but I maintained 70% WR with it while testing.

I've spent a lot of time trying to work out the most powerful thing to do on turn 3 with Pluto and Doc, and I think it's playing a Jim Hawkins plus a free RLS Legacy.
It happens a lot and is absurdly powerful that early in the game!

, the Hardcore ladder on Pixelborn has been a really welcome break from Bo1 grinding. I've had a blast trying to stay in the top 25 this season.
GP remains my favorite deck. There's plenty of other great decks out there, but this is the one for me 💚💜
