I have a hard time seeing how RB doesn’t just take over this set, it naturally is favored into steelsong and kuzco seems like a solid inkable answer to castle which seemed to be RP’s main way of taking advantage in the mu.

I think blue steel is still a great deck in set 5, Daisy Duck is a messed up card for sure and steel song is probably the bdif, but bs has some of the best tools to make it close. I think now more than ever list choices are critical for the deck to see success.

Also for anyone who missed out on top 4 these past 2 weekends DO NOT let that dictate how you move forward with Lorcana! I whiffed stitches my first 2 tournaments and went undefeated this weekend. At the end of the day card games are card games and you can’t win them all.

Well I lost in top 8 to a viewer playing the same 60, he played very well and ended up winning the event. Although I failed to acquire a stitch this weekend I have a received a ton of dms from students and viewers who won or top 4d their store championships which is awesome!

I’m going to a Disney trivia night at some local brewery, these poor folks don’t know what’s coming for them. Our team name is always Goof Troop and thus far the Troop has never lost. I just hope they don’t throw in too many low blows with Disney Channel original movies questions

I am fairly decent at Lorcana but I don’t disappoint in Pixelborn. I won 2 of the 4 The Pack tournaments that I played in and am ready for the third if I am given the chance.

This is one that I am excited to see, sapphire is my favorite color and even though few sapphire cards have excited me the past couple sets, this one does the trick. Why are all of my favorite sapphire cards 6 drops though? Gaston, Ariel, and now this guy potentially.

Why are people surprised at the idea of giving qualifiers accommodation at the hotel that the company owns? I didn’t expect it to happen but a discount isn’t a high expectation. Pokémon does travel stipends to nationals for top players and they don’t own any of the hotels…

I have never heard of a tcg player who cheated only once, they get a rush from it, and can’t stop once they start the habit. But not many people would be dumb enough to get multiple warnings and continue doing it under the watch of judges.

Every new set I have high hopes for some fun spice for Blue/Steel, but really the core of the deck is what makes it strong so very few new inclusions are added. Both a positive and a negative I would say.

I agree it’s a hidden value problem that very few people within the company see. 99% are collectors but having a strong competitive scene entering into the infancy of the game is something that bolstered the reputation of the game and set it up for long term success.

Bo3 is needed in my opinion simply due to the variance inherent with card games. Not being completely hung dry for a round when having one unplayable starting hand is a super important part of keeping competition alive.

It’s also important for collectors to also have cards with secondary market value because nobody wants to open boxes solely for enchanteds. Diablo is a hit for collectors and fun to open because its value comes from being a good game piece.

Well I finally didn’t top cut one of Thea’s tournaments, had a gut punch game in r8 where I got double Ursula 2 drop to rip both my swords to force a 1-1, I don’t like bo2 at all but great players will still be at the top regardless, thank you
