1. Learn how to say the alphabet, like *really* learn how to hear and make the sounds
2. Find the 400 most used words in the language and make cards with a picture on the front and the word in Gaeilge on the back (No English)

My TY student nephew has an RSA course at school teaching road safety. AFAICT the course focuses entirely on how to be a driver. None of the students are drivers. All of them are walkers and possibly cyclists, and yet none of the course deals with those modalities
