Yes - the expertise & time put in to work on theses boards (& it IS work to read, input & give expertise) these mayors/councillors add to their wider role of representatives of their cities should be recompensed
@TheBaumannDaily @JasJohalBC This is a throwback to when Mayors & Councillors were part time & expected to have a full time job & company pension. Or, with no job & no pension, they could benefit from adding extra boards. Metro should be elected & local politicians should have pensions like MLA's & MP's.
