Thanks for explaining the world to me. As a journalist I have been around gunfire and bombings eight separate times where people have been injured or died fighting for freedom. Nothing like having a keyboard warrior who drove a party into the ground explain the world to you.
Putting politics aside, this post shows the extent to which people take our way of life for granted. Tolerance & openness are far from ‘universal values.’ Like freedom, equality & democracy they’re precious, constantly under threat, & we have to defend them at every opportunity.
