For anyone paying attention, I announced that despite having a torn ligament in my shoulder, I decided to take on a personal challenge to reach 90mph by the time I’m 30. I turned 29 a week ago and just threw my first full effort bullpen in about 5 years....

Spoke to a college coach who is at PGWWB. Said he was heavy on 3 recruits. Watched them warm-up & carry themselves in games. All crossed off list. Poor actions before and during game and none handled adversity well. Pouters. When are player’s going to learn how much it matters.

When the hips initiate rotation, tension travels and uncoils through the middle, allowing the top half to follow and whip around.
Using the heavy ball (and lower effort) helps you to feel how the top half lags a split second behind the hips!
