Oden flashback was peak one piece without luffy, never seen that much hype before, a whole 100 episode arc dedicated to Sanji, reverie was THE best arc without luffy easily, whenever luffy isn't their the side characters do their job perfectly

Sadly this will happen with Gear 5 episode too but we will always know that it's the greatest TV episode ever put out and nothing is ever coming close until oda decides to drop a better peak 💯

What luffy has done for EVERY member of the crew,just makes him the most likable character ever, just take drum island for ex,that arc defines luffy imo,that mountain climb,not letting choppers flag get destroyed, Naruto hasn't had a moment like luffy climbing 5k feet for someone

Luffy saying 8th warlord changes the word shichibukai(because the word means 7 of the Warlords) itself but he still says shichibukai in the anime without realizing if there were 8 it would be called different

How Furudate managed to change thousands of lives by writing a volleyball match is beyond me
recognizing the chapter number of this haikyuu character's backstory is a small demographic of people. it really speaks to people who have grappled with mental illness, burnout, and need the nudge to quit something that drains them in a way they struggle to admit. thanks hirugami
