1. If you’re going to go ask a priest serious in depth theological questions, make an appointment and tell him what topics you want to focus on.

Catholics tell you to go talk to a priest to have your questions answered. So you go talk to a priest and then they get mad at you for it. It seems your only supposed to believe in what they say and ask no questions which is what the priest essentially articulated to me.

Don't listen to them. Indulgences are quite literally for the forgiveness of sins. It's the whole basis for Purgatory, the "Treasury of Merit" and the Protestant Reformation. The idea is completely evil and it attacks Christ and the sufficiency of His atonement.
