Pearly-bellied Seedeater in Emas NP, Brazil in 2007 - Sometimes I don't need to go away to get a new bird - Found this one lurking in my photos and after recent hadn't taxonomy changes had forgotten I'd seen this form!

Maccoa Duck at Ibsley Water, Hampshire this afternoon; my closest views to date of this long-staying escape and posted to show bill structure, with raised 'tubes' to nostrils and two raised ridges at the bill base @ElleryTrev16932

Black-necked Grebe at Ibsley Water this afternoon - not close but always good to see it at less than half a mile range! Also long-staying female RC Pochard and the resident Maccoa Duck. A fair number of gulls in a distant roost at 4pm but the best just 1 IstW, 1 adult YLG.
