@james_lidster Others raised concerns at the time but they were shouted down. Apparently looked longer necked when out of the water. I do not know enough about variation in Tundra bill pattern.

Todd's Canada Goose (Branta canadensis interior), Rockcliffe Marsh. Deployed a bit of old fashioned field craft for this one. I know that they seem to have gone very out of fashion but IMHO vagrant white-cheeked geese are still top draw rarities.

Buff-bellied Pipit (Anthus rubescens), Ross Back Sands. Pretty confiding when I was there and apparently now giving ridiculous views. Worth it for the walk through some truly fantastic scenery.
