Boys, AO, Bichagadu are bigger hits in telugu than Tamil. We even watch films like Lovetoday, Remo, etc. I don’t think they’ll watch Pellichoopulu, ENE, Broche, Jersey, etc.

Benefit shows or special shows will bring the maximum footfall in week 1, forcing distributors to make more money and less to exhibitors. By week 2 or 3, movie is gone from theatres not letting exhibitors earn anything.

Very true… Casting Telugu actors and writing dynamic character for them is very essential, that’s where all movies in early 2000s and before that shined. Kota garu, JP garu, Prakash Raj, Ramreddy, Raghuvaran, Shiyaji, etc. ippudu leru, miss them and those characters big time now
