I do think Bobb being slightly older than Foden during his first team introduction makes the situation a little different . He’s a lot less raw than Foden was at the time(same applies to Rico).

It would be important to look at the integration of other young players Pep has worked with for a larger sample i.e. Jesus, Alvarez, etc. Bobb play stay is extremely mature hence is steady inclusion for Norway on the international stage.

Has anybody considered that UTD may not be in for a DM because Ten Haag may use a CB in midfield like Stones. Looking at their targets and profiles this is viable. Yoro will be able to do it(eventually if not now) and Martinez too.

Savio is good, Olise is better. This will be our 3rd project signing in a year. Doku, nunes and now Savio. I hope our next coach will have the patience with these players unless Pep is planning to extend. Would have preferred Leao, paqcueta, olise. More expensive, better quality

Not enough, sure it’s good when we are being pressed , but what does he currently do to help against aggressive deep blocks? He still raw (take a look at his professional minutes) but he needs greater in game intelligence. Needs to add more to his skillset to excel.

.Yes , a lot of what was mentioned about Foden is right but we all know Foden is somewhat of a one punch man, NOW.
However, Foden has proven this season that even against the most aggressive of blocks(Real Madrid), his ability to get a goal breaks this tactics “game”. Knockout.
Maddison and Rashford not being part of the Euros squad is an indictment on Southgate and his staff.
You can get away with it (Kane, Saka, Eze, Mainoo solve a lot of attacking buildup problems) but you are not giving yourself the best chance possible when you need it.

Douglas Luiz for 40 mill is a great deal. Stop overthinking it. Pep has one more year so the board will do what they can to maximise his output this upcoming season . I’d expect nunes and/or Kova to be offloaded this summer or next summer which opens the gap up for Neves.

It’s how Rodri survives. Yes , it isn’t perfect and would need a heck of a job from Ten Haag (which he hasn’t proven he can do) but it would allow a Zubimendi too work. May even play Martinez left back and invert him. Either way , the “6” will have a pivot from the defence.

I get the hype around Neves but why purchase such a similar player to Rodri when there are other gaps in the squad. Rodri is in his peak . I’d rather we get a ball winner and push Rodri slightly higher than have two Rodri’s on the same pitch. Neves can come but not now.

Doku needs time. City fans claim we should have kept Lavia but won’t give Doku the time to develop his game. Again, I would’ve preferred a leao, someone with a more refined game. A player that raw will go through hard times as he works towards the levels required at MAN CITY.
