@OlliOreo I get that you think that but have to completely disagree on that. Both countries fund massive domestic spending already, and because both countries are among the richest and most developed in the world, there's a level of obligation to spend a small portion of money on others

@OlliOreo I get where you might not like that, but development is development. It’s multifaceted and requires full development not just cherry picked development. If certain areas would benefit by bike paths, they should be built

@OlliOreo USAID had a $40 billion budget and there are about 154 million taxpayers here. Very rough math shows an average of around $260 per person but not all people pay taxes equally so most are probably under $150 theoretically For the good it does, I would be happy to pay $500
