@ShahrarAli Can’t help thinking if there are parallels here in the way Upton has used the Datix process for maximum effect and the way some officers in the Green Party have used the No Fault suspension and protracted disciplinary system #weaponised Could it be so ?

We've responded to the CEDAW consultation on gender stereotypes (should be sex-role stereotypes!) and said it's time they took notice of the needs and situation of lesbians. CEDAW's the international treaty that defines women's rights as being sex-based.

What bollox - What happened to plain and simple gender non conforming. Lesbians, if you feel a bit femme one day, a bit butch the other, go with the flow. Express yourself however you want, be who you want, love who you want - no need for these prescriptive labels and rules.

Obviously there's been a longstanding feminist critique of cosmetic surgery. What's striking is how effectively so much of it now also works as a critique of 'gender affirming' surgery (quotes from The Beauty Myth)
