We made some enemies aware of the breakables, sometimes they will target them, you can see the Enemy kick the asset to reach you easier cleaning the navmesh, or how it goes through the wall.

Heh, I indeed would call the development team size "compact" 😁
But everyone knew their craft perfectly!
Astounded to learn that the team behind CONTROL and ALAN WAKE 2 is comprised of "130 people or so." I would have guessed many hundreds of people, if not more, made these games possible.

Тут звісно дуже допомогло, що ми маємо можливість руйнувати об'єкти у грі.
Але навіть з наявними інструментами довелося креативно підходити до того, як ШІ аналізує оточення і розуміє, що дістатися до гравця заважає перепона.
Результат вийшов непоганий, на мій погляд 🙂

У швидких ворогів не було проблеми наздогнати гравців навіть у просторі зі складною геометрією.
А ось з повільними було трохи складніше. Треба було уникнути ситуації як з леді Дімітреску в RE. Коли можна було безкарно бігати навколо предметів інтер'єру.

В кат-сценах це повинно бути вже вирішено. Тому або щось знову пішло не так, або це відбувається не в кат-сценах, а в інші моменти гри. І нам буде корисно знати по них.

For Game Designer it's difficult to constantly produce content. Usually, the outcome of my work is a created game which can take years.
