Yeah. There's now a loading screen after the lighthouse falls... between that and the wakeup.

(I posted a couple of screenshots earlier today having looked at this with the debug camera... she actually only appears - literally pops into existence - on the "anybody seen Kate Marsh?" line. So she's not there the entire time /and/ is obscured by the window frame usually...)

In 2021, somehow, I made over a thousand people play a very niche, made from nothing, 90's Gameboy RPG style adaptation of the first episode of Life is Strange. Wild to have hit that number on the last day of last year now. I am *unbelievably* grateful and stunned.

It's the characters, writing and relationships.
Those are why LIFE IS 2-D WORKS. I virtually minimised them after Episode 1 showed they could be done "properly" because they are not the important part...

A lot of people like myself were disappointed by the Remastered trailer.
Go watch in 4K if you can, and pause during the transitions between old/new, or generally. There's a NICE upgrade to the face detail and textures that you wouldn't notice otherwise.
