Hey Alberta I just thought that I would check in. After another week of hospitals and feeling crappy I thought I would do a post. I am not sure why I want to, as there is so much crazy shit going on with this platform. But here we go. I have spoken about Trump and his crazy trolling about Canada. He's an idiot so let's leave it at that. I was asked by my advisers to just stay quiet right now while I get sorted on what path I am taking politically. So, at my own risk, I am going to ignore that advice. I want to look at this whole separation movement. Every time I read it, it reminds me of a different kind of movement. I have advisors with decades of experience showing me stats on how separation won't work. No shit it won't. Let's just look at it at face value. These separation experts say that a referendum should take place. OK, give these guys their moment. When you look at the province as a whole. Look at election stats. Voter turn out. Its not looking good. So let's say that they peak, and through some act of Satan, they receive 51% in favor. Forget that. Let's give them 60%. That's a dream number, but why not. Is that a mandate? Not really. What do they expect the 40% against will do? Just quietly go along? We all know better than that. But the response will be from these geniuses will be that they can all just move. Well, I am very confident they will just say no lol. Now, this is where the fun begins. This group assumes that large companies will just go along. With 30 years dealing with corporate leaders, I can safely say that that won't be the case. So mass exodus would happen. The lawsuits would be coming from all sides. Then, of course, the federal government will step in. It will be years of battles. And in the end, these seperatives will lose. So, really, there are two choices that normal every day Albertans can make. One is to fight back against these winners. Or two just ignore them, and they will fizzle out like everything else. Both are effective. These separation groups lack organizational skills. They have Smith out there, making it actually worse for their cause. Smith is trying to cut her own deal with the US. She also lacks the organizational skills and support needed. Trump is a horrible negotiator, yet Smith will make him look good. I love Alberta and have made my career negotiating with the US. Smiths approach makes us look so weak that I am, as many others are so embarrassed. So, back to this great referendum. My thought is that it will be about the same as the APP one back last May. Now that I think about it, I never did see an APP referendum. Did you guys? Of course not , it is in the pile with the rest of the UCP non starters. That sure makes for a good possibility that this whole separation thing will fizzle out. Even if the groups get help from the UCP,it still is a nothing burger. In my case, I want the fight. I have decided to unretire from a successful 40-year career in business, which included providing political strategists. And I for sure did not decide to do this to sit around and watch. I want to make noise, piss off the right people, and help get Alberta back on its feet after this mess. So whether I register a new Real Conservative party or get an opportunity to do my thing with an existing party. I will be in the face of people who look to tear apart our province. In a nut shell, I am ready to fight for the next 3 years every day. I am confident that the support I have enjoyed out in the communities will continue to do so and are also ready. So enough sitting back. Let's start giving it back to them hard. Oh, before I go. If you are not aware, there is also a group of crazies wanting to go after your municipal boards. You dont want that. I have associates who are willing to help you fight that. Again, no more sitting back. Let's go Alberta!

@TheBreakdownAB His municipal board goal will fail. He is writing checks that he won't be able to cash. Once again, I should say.

@AbJrogg @cnm5000 @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @ABDanielleSmith In regards to the whole separation movement. Honestly, it's more of a small group. The simple answer is that in regard to separation. That dog won't hunt.

True. In my case, it was over 10 000 people losing jobs and over a billion in sales. But there are small fries on both sides. I dealt at the top in oil and gas, so it was always a dog fight. I think if Canada is pushed, I would go all in again. But now that I am entering politics, it is true that many do not like a Pitt bull mentality. Lol

I am curious. Do you feel that Canada gets bullied in business? I would disagree as in 2017 when Trump was last in office, he told US businesses that they were being overcharged by us. They decided to challenge us on pricing. I took my consulting firm and put a group together. We hit the US like wild dogs. The US was calling myself and others corporate bullies. In the end, we drug it out until 2018 when companies were near layoffs in the 1000s, and bankruptcy was looming. I did negotiate a settlement with an average of 8.5% increase on pricing. I only renegotiated because my Dad was in hospice and hated that the businesses and people would lose their jobs. So I gave in. I can't say that in 40 years of business that I was ever bullied by the US. Believe it or not, the US has weaknesses. Now that I am entering politics I probably shouldn't tell the story. But there are 1000s of scenarios like mine that play out every day. It's not just the big US.

@AbJrogg Nenshi has been pretty quiet. I am not an NDP, but if I was and was leading the NDP, I would be barking loudly 24/7. The UCP gives so much material to opposition parties on a daily basis. It should be easy work for Nenshi.

I tend not to comment on people I don't really know as I find it a bit rude. As far as going toe to toe with the US. I will share a story that my advisors always beg me not to tell. In 2017, many US businesses were pushing Canadian businesses to lower prices because Trump said it would be easy, and we would fold in negotiations At that time, I was the owner of one of many of the biggest consulting firms in Canada. We decided to take on the US businesses. We went in like wild dogs, and in no time, we had the US businesses on their heels. We had cut off product supply, and we pulled out of most of the contracts, and we were the only suppliers in many cases. Long story short, by early 2018, the US had a big mess with no products. I was asked by many to put a new deal in place before the companies had to do massive layoffs or even bankruptcy. I stood firm. The US brought the fight, not us. In the end, my father, who was an amazing negotiator, was in his final days in hospice. He called me in and asked me to set a new deal as thousands of people losing their jobs was not the win that we wanted. So I did it for my dad, and we renegotiated with the companies ( with an increase for our clients), and everyone moved on. So, as far as being unable to go toe to toe with the US, I beg to differ. I am now entering politics, and I will use the same mentality to fight for Albertans and Canadians.

Well. This is my MLA. In the job you have to take the good with the bad. And if you can't take the bad. You are in the wrong profession .
Meanwhile, in southern Alberta… It appears the MLA who promised that there would be no coal mines doesn’t like people asking why the UCP have done a 180. Accountability is just the woooooorst. #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli

@TheBreakdownAB What a surprise. It is never a good look when an MLA decides to run instead of facing their critics. But that is the UCP way

@TheRealDKGray It's pathetic. We have 40 million people, yet these leaders are the best we have to offer? But then again, the best Canada has probably has no interest due to the hate and whining that goes on. So as a result we get stuck with weak ,opportunistic leaders.

@DavidJPba In my opinion, the current leaders of all the parties are weak. At this point, the parties are just names with talking heads. The leaders all need to go

@JDVance Such tough talk from a complete weakling. Do you really believe that Canadian business is concerned about going head to head with American business. We fed US business their lunches in 2017/2018. It will be easy work to do it again.

@LukaszukAB @john_cyclesmart Hence why we should never put all of our eggs in one basket. There are many other great baskets in the world to choose from.
