In 2021, Alberta's GDP per capita was C$84,272, compared to the Canadian average of C$65,651.
If Alberta were to separate from Canada, that would give Alberta more control over its economy and allow it to pursue economic policies that are specifically tailored to its own needs.
In the largest, coldest country on the planet, with an electrical grid that can barely keep up with existing demand, with a distribution system that is completely incapable of carrying the required levels, this is borderline absurd.

We should collect all federal taxes right here in Alberta. We can then determine what our fair share of federal revenues should be. If the federal government disagrees, they can take us to court.

Tamara Lich was treated far far worse than the criminal that was granted bail for assault of a police officer and previous gun crime. Now out on bail he has murdered an OPP officer.
