@RCoANews @Assoc_Anaes Could you post on BlueSky as well, as that is where a lot (most) people are now. Thanks

@MaxRidley3 @OTavabie @BloomPringle @UMich @AASLDtweets @MichiganLiver @UM_TREE @medicluke @laura_eburke Plus as alluded to encephalopathy may make things a little more interesting! Ps get yourself over to BlueSky, I think it's going to get increasingly quiet over here from the medical side

@VirtueOfNothing I've noticed the US approach to awareness can be a little odd. At the ASA conference one speaker said "We don't need to worry about awareness as long as they are comfortable and nobody says anything rude about the patient". (Paraphrased as I can't remember exact wording)

@RCoANews Given that you rightfully emphasise the need for cost-effectiveness, a move out of London would be hard to argue against...

@Chronotrope @SachMehta @SIVATrainees Thinking aloud, how does Thio fit into this? Notoriously bad a suppressing laryngeal reflexes even at induction doses?

@SIVATrainees Excellent thread. I think anyone who has an interest in pEEG inevitable goes down the mechanisms of consciousness rabbit hole.

@bigjimble @medicluke @BJAJournals Remember Euro 96 was seen as a big step in reclaiming the flag from the NF.

@jtrebach ..and then you end up having to call your paediatrician wife at work. "I know this sounds like the start of a child protection medical but hear me out..."

@doctimcook @Anaes_Journal @NicholasChrimes @RUHBath Any thoughts on directly lifting the epiglottis (rather than having the tip in the scope in the epiglottis)?

@goldstone_tony @BenZaranko @TheIFS @PJTheEconomist @TheBMA @BMA_Pensions @trentconsultant @NHSEngland @jamesmurray_ldn Related to this any thoughts on additional contributions to NHS pension, as they are a way to stay under the threshold. Do they only effect that years AA?

@pepemac27 I'd agree for thin fragile veins, would take anaesthetics when it's a case of deep veins with US.

@drp297 @mouseter_chef A big stock pot works fine. If you regularly do really long cooks then maybe something more insulated may be worthwhile but for most stuff I suspect the energy savings are negligible.
