Interview went very well they liked me a lot. Met with some of the SOC managers and CSO. Loved my passion, eagerness to learn and tenacity. Of course a skills gap but they are willing to teach and guide me.

Oh yea p.s. don’t stick only to 1 cloud platform if you do chose the cloud computing career path. If you do major in any of the big 3 (AWS,Azure,GCP). Know at least the basic fundamentals or more of the other platforms. It will set you apart from your competition

Just turned 29 and Im working on getting into Law school to focus on cybersecurity law/AI. I also just had a newborn, it’s never too late to start or never too late to pivot. That’s the best thing about life, you can make it whatever you want it to be.
If you’re between 25-29, you’ve reached an age where you’re starting to feel like giving up on yourself, thinking it’s too late to start anew as you see people around you settling down. Don’t let that energy influence you. This phase is crucial; persevere through it.

GRC is super duper underrated but highly highly lucrative. Barrier to entry isn’t as hard either since technical skills aren’t required but are a plus
