Is it just me or is the misogyny completely off the charts? I'm 56 and I don't ever remember things being this bad. The men aren't even trying to hide it anymore and neither are some of the women. I feel sick.
If the sexualized abuse JK Rowling is receiving for her innocuous tweet doesn't dispel the "both sides behaving badly" fallacy nothing will. Rape and death threats for stating sex is real. Who does that? Not women.
A 🧵on feminism & childless women: One of the 14 children in this picture is my great grandmother. I've done a lot of work on my family tree and only a couple of generations back this size family was not unusual.
Feminism is responsible for ruining a lot of things for men. Here's a partial list. Feel free to add to it.
1. It took away men's right to own women as chattel
2. It made it more difficult to sexually harass women in the workplace.
HRT means Hormone REPLACEMENT Therapy. When people take the wrong hormones for their SEX they aren't replacing anything. They're poisoning themselves. Let's stop calling it HRT.
So the head girls and the undersigned who try to shame people for being anonymous after ignoring us for years despite our support can fuck right off and when they get there they can fuck off some more. Peace out ✌️
A thread on being anonymous: 🧵
From 2015 to 2021 I was on terf twitter with my real name and photo. I did not have a large following and none of the larger accounts I followed ever engaged with me or promoted my posts. I'm sure not one person on here remembers me from that time.
What they did saved us from this hell of constant pregnancy and dead infants. For women to act as if feminism is something to be embarrassed of is shameful and an expression of deep ingratitude.
1. Harsh reality. It's estimated that almost 2/3rds of the men on dating apps are married or in relationships. Many of these men are the 'good men' you think you have.
I wasn't always a big supporter of KJK. I disagreed with a lot of what she said about feminism. I still do. However, she has proven herself strong, steadfast, of impeccable character and principled. I'm team KJK all the way now. The milquetoast pronoun crew can go pound sand.
It's bad enough to hear that from misogynistic men - although not surprising, but it's absolutely vile coming from the mouths of the women who not for the work of the feminists before us would have been living the life you see in this picture. Shame on you.
I know there are thousands of other terfs out there who are just like me. I appreciate you and all you do. There is so much more happening than what we see here on X.
Have the vote, access education and birth control, build a career, own property and have access to credit - among many other things. I will never disavow feminism.
I am a divorced and childless woman - by choice. To claim that women like me and our "misdirected maternal instinct" are the reason for all of the ills of society is frankly disgusting.
Confession: For years I watched as people were critical of Stella O'Malley, Debbie Hayton and others like them. I didn't quite understand the problem. Now I do and I can't believe I didn't see it sooner.
The reason we don't have to is because of what feminists did for us. Their work began around the time this photo was taken. I am beyond grateful for all of the work they did which allowed me to:
Fellow anonymous terfs. Since we're always being denigrated for being anonymous I suggest that we withhold our anonymous dollars, pounds, euros and other currencies from the undersigned and their various crowd funders, books, art and merch.
All that being said what does it matter that I'm anonymous if I've always been invisible to the accounts I engaged with and supported? I'm not famous or promoting a book or merchandise. I just wanted to raise awareness about the issue in any way I could.
Instead of poking fun, today I'm posting a tribute to all those doing their part with INTEGRITY whether in the open or anonymously. I know I'm missing hundreds of accounts but thank you for all you do!
This is all about language.
1. The reason men are in women's spaces is because we called them women
2. The reason men are on lesbian dating apps is because we called the, women
3. The reason men with fetishes have access to children is because we called them women.
Someone explain to me why AGP is being given special status among paraphilias. How is it different than any other fetish? Why do some people say we should accept this particular fetish in our homes, schools and workplaces?
@HJoyceGender
I work in a related field and speak with people on the phone about their accounts. We protect them by making sure they are who they say they are. If a voice is incongruent with the sex or age it's considered a red flag and further verification is needed. Standard procedure.
I terf plenty in real life. One on one with people, writing my representatives, raising awareness and supporting people like
@KDansky
by purchasing her books.
@hatpinwoman
Happened to me recently as well. I dared to make a post about prostitution and how men are taking advantage of poor and vulnerable women. Literally thousands of comments calling women cum dumpsters, whores, and saying the men are the victims. Separatism has never looked better.
I can only imagine raising a family of this size or constantly losing infant children was all consuming. These women didn't choose this life. In fact many of the next two generations entered the priesthood or convent to avoid it.
My employer also strongly suggests we not make political posts. Because of this I became anonymous on X. That does not mean I don't take action on this issue.
I used to be self employed but lost my business during Covid and had to join the corporate ranks in 2021. I am in the US which also means my healthcare is tied to my employment. There are people who depend on me and I can't afford to lose my job.
Years ago I used to think there some transwomen were allies. I didn't really understand the prevalence of AGP at that time. I've since come to realize no AGP is an ally to women and substantially all TW are AGP with the exception of
My 2x great grandmothers on all branches of the family tree either had very large families like this OR saw many children die in infancy due to disease and poverty. They spent the majority of their lives pregnant, nursing and grieving dead children.
3. You can no longer fire a woman for becoming pregnant.
4. You can no longer rape your wife without facing a criminal charge
5. Your wife does not need your permission to obtain birth control
I'm certain I missed a lot of things. We nasty feminists have completely ruined a lot of things for men and our work is not yet complete.
Sorry, not sorry.
The slogan "Trans women are women" was the most successful and insidious tactic used in allowing men into women's spaces. The second most effective tactic was using wrong sex pronouns. Now they're not just women but also female. Everyone knew this until 5 minutes ago.
"But I like James Lindsay"
"But I like Colin Wright"
"But I like Benjamin Boyce"
They don't like you. They don't respect you. They are contemptuous of you.
They are MRAs and always have been. Not very fond of women and and never miss a chance to take a pot shot at feminists.
From time to time, since I've become anonymous, my posts have been promoted by bigger accounts like
@Martina
for which I am very grateful. My account has grown a little, but I'm still small and I don't care about that one bit.
6. Men can no longer restrict a woman's ability to support herself financially.
7. You can't deny a woman the right to sign a legal contract
8. You cannot commit your wife or daughter to a mental institution when she becomes inconvenient
Will someone please explain why Helen Pluckrose has been appointed to Genspect's advisory board. In what way is she qualified for this position?
Here's what I know about Helen:
When the managerial set asks "What have these anons ever done?" The answer: Supported you, promoted you, funded your legal battles and bought your books. The audacity of these grifters is off the charts. No more clicks, likes or views from me. You've shown your hand.
@ACLU
Cross sex hormones, puberty blockers and amputation of healthy body parts is neither safe nor essential. The house of cards is falling, the lawsuits are beginning. You have irreparably damaged a generation of children. Pure evil.
OK so Genspect just appointed Helen Pluckrose to their board. Helen believes transwoman are women. She also has no problem with AGPs performing their fetish publicly. Can you see what is happening now?
People seem to have snakes in their heads re: pronouns. Let me help you untangle that mess.
Here's what happened:
Janice Turner wrote a puff piece in the Times about David Hayton. She used she/her pronouns in the article.
I have never in all of my years on X had this much engagement on a tweet. The incels are legion. 99% of replies seem to be from bot accts with 4 followers.
Let's recap, shall we?
The leader of the organization that seeks to replace WPATH promoted a self-proclaimed AGP in his fetish wear at their conference. She lashed out at people who had concerns and did a DARVO and blocked everyone who questioned her.
This is not a philosophical debate about truth and we don't need to understand men's paraphilias better. We need the perversion out of public spaces and the grifting to stop.
I used to find Pluckrose a bit ridiculous and pitiable but now I see her as a bad actor and nasty person. The more I see from her the worse it gets. I don't think I'm alone in feeling this way.
Children are not diagnosed with paraphilias. If they are acting out in a sexually inappropriate manner the therapist should explore the behaviors and find out if the child has been abused and/or exposed to pornography.
For me this is not that Janice et al choose to use wrong sex pronouns for their friends. It's about how abominably they have treated the people who have spent years supporting and promoting them.
5. I finally decided to opt out and no longer date. Too many porn addicted cheaters and liars out there. It's too dangerous and not worth it. Women of all ages are giving up on relationships with men.
I've been involved in gender critical circles for at least 7 years. The prominent journalists and academics in this movement regularly stated there was no bigger issue. Now, these same women are saying there are more important issues. No, no there isn't. Shame on you.
@joshgardner
It's not complex at all. Sports have historically been segregated by sex because male and female bodies are very different in many ways. No amount of hormones or surgery changes that. This is common sense and everyone who is being honest knows this.
PSA: Julie Bindel and Jane Clare Jones and those like them do not own feminism and are not the final arbiters of feminist thought. You can disagree with them, even dislike them and still be a feminist. It's not a dirty word.
People who treat gender confused children do not need a deep understanding of AGP. They need to recognize deviant and boundary crossing behavior and work towards correcting it, not validating it.
Saying "I'm tired of all the infighting" is exactly the same as "Be Kind." It's a way to shut us up. When you see something that doesn't make sense ask questions and challenge it.
@ArielleScarcell
Gender dysphoria is made up. EVERYONE is uncomfortable or unhappy with their body at some point. It' called being human. This shit needs to stop.
He knows, Matt Walsh knows, JB Peterson knows. All of these men with large platforms KNOW feminists have been fighting this forever, yet we see this at least once a week. Why? This is part of a larger agenda wrt women. Silence, humiliate and ignore. They know what they're doing.
On average it takes approx 7 times for a woman to finally leave an abuser. Fellow terfs, I ask you how many more times do the podcast bros have to say things that are glaringly misogynistic and contemptuous before you understand that even if you like them they don't like you?
To think that the organization that seeks to replace WPATH is so invested in treating AGP as a special paraphilia with a status different from all other paraphilias is very troubling.
@TimesRadio
@Docstockk
What bigger issues Kathleen? What is more important than the recognition in law and policy of 50% of the population AND children's safeguarding?
Many of us felt that was an unfair characterization and that up until that moment we had all agreed using wrong sex pronouns was a bad idea. Many people had talked about this publicly including Helen Joyce, for many years.
