We are so proud of our Y13 students and their A Level results reflect their hard work. Despite concerns in the media (a drop to 26.5% A*/A nationally), their enthusiasm & resilience have led to the award of 68% of all grades at A*/A, and 90% at A*-B.

Congratulations to Harry Pounds on a magnificent 193 no innings. This score beat the previous highest LGS 1st XI score by 55 runs (138 no by William Hunt in 2013). There have only been 7 100s scored for the 1st XI in the School's history. Harry hit 23 fours and 4 sixes.
The last official day of school ever! Today we say goodbye to our Year 13s as they embark on exam leave and their A levels. Some of them have been here since they were 3 years old, some joined us in Y12; however long or short their LGS journey has been, we wish them all the best!

Our Year 7s are having a blast on their action-packed PGL adventure! Today’s activities included activities, canoeing, the amazing giant swing, Jacob’s ladder and archery tag! They’ll sleep well tonight (we hope 😉!)
