How will the application process work? Asking from rural BC and specifically Cariboo - Chilcotin?
So who gets them first? And how will that be decided? With temperatures rising now and a hot summer forecast, surely to goodness this could have been rolled out in the spring to allow for the protection people need this summer? How many will actually be distributed this summer?

Agreed!!! Complete incompetence!! The many businesses that have been affected in Cariboo-Chilcotin will maybe….. maybe qualify for half of the available funding - sadly most will get $2000! That doesn’t cover January rent!!! Lets get proper funding in place for these businesses
Small biz promised COVID-19 Closure Relief Grant in Dec but application process still not open a month later = incompetence! NDP must also expand program to more biz impacted (live events sector, events planners, travel agents) and push $ out now.
