Following in the footsteps of MegaETH (1) - Vitalik's relationship with MegaETH Let's continue to follow in MegaETH's footsteps as we dive deeper into MegaETH, this time focusing on the relationship between Vitalik and MegaETH. 1️⃣ Vitalik's investment Suddenly, MegaETH, a little-known project, is backed by big names, including two of Ethereum's co-founders (Vitalik and Rubin) and the founder of Eigenlayer. 2️⃣ Why did Vitalik invest in MegaETH? There is an alignment of interest between Vitalik's plans for the future of Ethereum node classification and MegaETH. The project as a whole adopts a node classification approach, breaking down the different functions of the two-layer scaling into different nodes, and having each kind of node use different performance hardware based on the performance it needs, so that each function within the system reaches the limits of the node's hardware, pushing the system's performance to the limits of the hardware. For example, if you're building a castle with LEGOs, you need to build the walls, you need to build the gates, and you need to make sure that the castle looks harmonious as a whole. You can think of it like this. This mindset is reminiscent of Vitalik's plan to categorize Ethereum's future nodes, in which he stated that future Ethereum nodes will be categorized Some will use high-performance hardware to efficiently process transactions and create blocks, which will require 32 ETH as collateral; Others use ordinary hardware (even embedded devices) as nodes that simply validate blocks, and they only need to collateralize a small amount of ETH. This allows the entire network to be as decentralized as possible while still meeting the performance demands of the Ethereum mainnet. This aligns with Vitalik's classification of Ethereum's future nodes. 3️⃣ Vitalik's relationship with MegaETH team members This part of the article was adapted from a post on Minbu's CryptoBaller channel! Source: It is said that MegaETH's team member, brother bing, is close to Ethereum co-founders Vitalik and Rubin, and has a lot of connections. For reference, the hotpot dao created by bing also has famous projects such as Delysium and Virtuals. So that's how we got to know MegaETH and Vitalik!!! @microglia_8888 @0xBreadguy @alexhughsam Outsourcing always comes with risks, but MegaETH has delivered on the bigger picture. Still, would love to hear if they’d tweak their approach in a redo.

@reesistancee @megaeth_labs Fluf and Fluff—one prints $ROOT, the other megaETH. Clearly, rabbits are the real blue chips.

@nftbawsa @marvinagunkwo @waleswoosh Exactly—different projects, different market dynamics. MegaETH found deep-pocketed believers, Abstract is playing a different game.
