I'd asked a question about STI testing and decided to collate the information so it's easier to peruse. One common one for women seems to be getting a test request form from their Gynae whenever they visit.
Why is testing such a task here?
Carigen is the only straightforward (no doctor's note needed) option I know, but it's out of the way if you don't work in Liguanea, Papine or Mona.
Where do you get your STI tests done and what's the process like?
(Answers and RTs welcome)
As I see it:
Elaine is the only current sprinter who can beat Shelly over 100m, and Shelly is the only one who can beat Elaine in her current form.

Sepia colour grading is how filmmakers relay to the audience that "this is in a developing country".

This St. Christopher / St. Kitts thing is reminding me of going to almost any country funeral in Jamaica.
Pastor: today we lay to rest Eustace Cornelius Brown

I noticed you still haven't shouted out your brand ambassador, Elaine Thompson-Herah, who just ran the fastest unchallenged time in the history of the women's 100m
@Nike

You also haven't shouted out your brand ambassador, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the second-fastest woman ever.
I’m curious what they think the currency symbol in a lot of other countries is?
Y’all think in Canada they’d write 🍁8,000 and in Mexico it would be 🌮8,000?
Seriously though, can you imagine training, running, recovering, planning, working for YEARS. You're now at the peak of your powers and line up in a world event. You're running your heart out and this tiny Jamaican is pulling away from you while styling her hair? 😭
I hate seeing “yeah, mon” and “irie, mon”, mostly because Jamaicans don’t say “mon”.

Quite true. I've noticed that not many people ever really address things from this side. I'm here for being there for your s/o before, during, and after an episode, but people tend to not realise or simply ignore that the episodes have an effect on the supporting partner as well.
A supervisor is among five employees of the Burger King fast-food outlet in Harbour View, east Kingston who were arrested on Sunday in an alleged fraud involving $10 million, police commander Supt. Tommilee Chambers says.

Anju said 500,000 words to say "there was a spike because of nomination day activities" without ever actually saying "there was a spike because of nomination day activities"
The "$2000 is the problem" people were correct. I was preoccupied when I got these just now and was about to say "hey, that's not the correct amount" thinking I got two $1000 notes.
A friend of mine saw another Amazon van today.
I have no idea what's going on, but depending on what they're up to, this may spell trouble for freight-forwarders.
In 2025 when we’ve kinda eased out of the wilder parts of COVID19, I fully intend to keep going with the masks and heavy sanitisation.
I haven’t had the cold/flu in two years and it’s been great!

The tone of her tweet makes me think that she's only upset because she feels like people whose occupations are "below" her occupation are considered essential and she's stuck at home.
That's just what I get anyway.
I loved everything about this race.
- Frater forever being our 4x100 star
- Usain shouting “RUN ‘SAFA! RUN!!”
- Asafa running the fastest ever anchor leg
- Usain crossing the line before the last place finisher
- WR & OR fly weh
The Clayton twins from Edwin Allen are just two more examples that we have two all-girl schools (dem and Holmwood) that are conveyor belts of sprinting talent.
I have a SERIOUS problem with one of those Ms. Law pics though. SERIOUS SERIOUS problem that offends sensibilities.

You see all those movies where humans band together and work toward the common goal of preventing an E.L.E.? All those movies are bullshit.
Don’t Look Up probably best represents exactly how we’ll fail as a species if such an event came up.
"Annie Palmer ruled the 18th century plantation with an iron fist and drove fear in the hearts of loved ones and enemy’s alike”
LOL. What enemies? The slaves she’d routinely brutalise?
Gonna need you to borrow a brain from someone and use it to think for a bit. If they had this access to power over the elements then watering their crops wouldn't be an issue, now would it? I'd just like you to use that borrowed brain and think of how fucking stupid you are.
This is quite interesting. Haiti and the Dominican Republic are on the same island, Hispaniola. Haiti was trying to build a canal to redirect water so they can irrigate their crops. The Dominicans tried to block it, so Haitians started doing VooDoo and this is the result.

If it's harder for me to catch it, and it's harder for you to pass it on, then the virus begins to fade naturally. Hence, herd immunity.

Jamaican banks: we're trying to cut down on the amount of in-bank customers. It would be more efficient for everyone if customers used e-banking.
Also Jamaican banks: I'm sorry, you can't do a simple electronic based transaction, you need to come into a branch for that.
