I'll respond by end of summer. 1k-10k words, more interested in the right spirit and content than the length. Pays $100 + contributor copy.

The only way to accurately represent lower class America in fiction is to make exploitation. Most writers are so far from the gutter, they don't realize how hard it earns that title.
@saderotica
and Sean Baker been doing it really well (& obviously I know what I'm doing).
if you have principles to stand on, you can speak your mind whenever. no need to wait on a respected peer to validate your thoughts. fear of ostracization is the trait of a child. consider today, whether expressing or internalizing it, at least developing your own belief system.
if you don't care enough about your book to push and promote as passionately as you wrote it, why should anyone read or notice it. you can write 3,000 words of black-pilled excuses or you can start giving a shit about your work.
Editing this book by
@SafetyPropagan1
is walking a tightrope between nuanced satire and full-blown parody, but the other end of that balancing act is a secret third thing that is emotionally and spiritually profound, however hilarious and offensive it may also be.
Catch me reading a joint from GOD IS WEARING BLACK alongside the talented

Like teeth grinding in the hot sun, like sweat dripping from the barrel of a gun, like a bad cough inside a ski mask, like scorched glass.
Incendiary.
It's NICE Day
The boys are joined by Agitator and

Take Notes!
Ingram no longer charges for uploading titles or registering an original ISBN with barcode. There is zero reason for indie presses and self-pub authors to be using KDP anymore, which I would advise against, as someone whose royalties have been locked by Amazon for 6 months now.
I ain’t re-releasing the bibliography til either someone throws a good advance my way or I set up some design-heavy print runs (French flaps, deckled edges, interior art...) Whichever comes first. Top priority is writing the next shit, tho, so hit ebay if you want the classics.
Gonna try announcing book club episodes of Agitator more in advance so those who want to can read along before the drop. Soon: talking CROOKED SMILE w/

People are saying, "what a handsome guest, he looks like the Agitator boys had a baby with the epic chef meme," and while that's flattering (albeit disgusting), the value here is everything

brings with his story, insight, and his big heart. Plz listen & share. 🙏
Charlene Elsby's approach to the novel reminds me a lot of Ryu Murakami's in the way both authors have narrators whose personalities are the personality of the story. Both depict gruesome, ridiculous violence in this emotionally detached but intellectually curios way.
Leaning in to tropes and archetypes with this next novel. The fun is in subversion and blending within restrictions. One of the characters is an amalgamation of all of these:
@ZaczynskiAll
Sell dope or do something else that will get you locked up. Work construction or food service. Read a lot of manga. Tune out what everyone's into and find what speaks solely to you.
And Ingram is just an affordable, easy platform with POD and distribution channels. Of course there's print run avenues, there's Bookvault which values print options and quality over wide distribution. There's lots of directions to go away from the red-taped by bot mods KDP.
@Rarecandypod1
Izumi Suzuki isn't contemporary, but she's just now being translated into English. I've already suggested Elle Nash's Deliver Me, you know the Broken River crew, and I'd add Charlene Elsby's Violent Faculties as a strong suggestion.
the four joints I've spun more than any others, all time. the Heroin and Long Live CDs got destroyed when i was living in my car and had the windows down during a storm. what are your top spins?
exclusive first ever interview with the

also also: buckle up for the long game. you didn't "publish a book," you're a writer. write another one and another one. fuller tables sell better, thicker bibliography encourages collector mentality, bigger splash makes more ripples, etc

skateboarding is so big with kids here, the city finally dug out and poured the skate park they didn't think was necessary twenty years ago
@xavier_agarcia
extreme horror kinda sucks by and large. highly exceptional works that i think still fit the genre would be anything by Jack Ketchum or God's Leftovers by Grant Wamack.
NEW AGITATOR: Talking Park Chan-wook's The Sympathizer, hating on fence-sitters, anti-American American propaganda, Deep State postmodern expressionism, the "all art is political" statement and how to make shit cool again with

@cart00ngold
they're all saying 'you've got SO MUCH dirt on me, lemme put my Oscar bait face on, i'll say whatever you want just please don't Cosby my ass'
@WholeTimeDavid
I tried grey denim jacket with dark blue jeans once and Erika told me the same thing. I ain’t argue though, I thanked her and then thanked God for not being from New York.
@xavier_agarcia
that's exactly what it is. i'd give it some grace if the writing wasn't also so fucking bad lol. but hell yeah, Grant's the truth. Shane McKenzie is another who writes a bit of extreme horror but he's legit.
