But most major cities have their ‘dump’ areas, to varying degrees. Most never seen by tourists/outsiders. The tourist trap areas is rarely a true representation of the city.

If that is real, I assume a plane, staff would make you sit diwn. Not allow you to stand. Other than eg getting stuff from locker, getting up & going to/going back to from toilet, air crew are usually on you so quick to sit down.
