@FischerKing64 It would be politically stupid to eliminate the income tax, even if we love Trump’s tariffs. Tariffs alone are inherently regressive. The American people wouldn’t tolerate it. Plus, it wouldn’t generate enough revenue nowadays.

@HettasHubby88 @KamilahVMoore You can cut unnecessary spending while still recognizing reparations need to happen. Will definitely require getting out from under some debt first though. That’s why raising taxes on ultrawealthy and closing loopholes is so important.

We need bigger cuts now, or we won’t bring down inflation. Don’t have til FY 2026. Appreciate what you’re doing, but if we follow your plan, we’ll lose elections in 2026 and 2028 we should win. If can’t cut bigly now, will have to raise taxes on top .1% to eliminate deficit and allow American people to have patience with DOGE. Strategy.
