Chillingly similar to a paper the Heritage Foundation put out during Reagan years, elucidating every change seen in past years: change judges, local school boards, infiltrate media, and treat President as a royal figure, while cutting off easy access .. These people mean it.

As a former network journalist, I am shocked and sickened that even the appearance of impartiality has been tossed aside here. Every day, the media, which we need desperately, is further compromised. Corporate money should never have entered into this.

One of the key tenets of journalism I first learned, was never put anything on the air (or print) that you know to be false. It is utterly misleading to the public and is not journalism. Her lies are right there in the open. Shame.

Why do we believe it really was Mrs Alito and not Justice Alito who hung that flag? Has he given us any reason to trust him lately? Easy to blame the wife...
The question remains: Why was hanging the flag upside-down seen as an appropriate response and what did she think she was signaling bearing in mind it was just after Jan. 6 and before the inauguration?

What NBC is doing is a serious violation of journalistic standards and practices. It is not permitted to knowingly put LIES on the air. Those lies are out there for all to see. There is no denying them. As a former network news reporter, I am shocked.

No, my former colleague and friend. It is NOT that. It is because real journalists do not knowingly put lies on the air, or those with ties to criminal activity.... certainly not when paying them. Interviewing, maybe. NOT paying.

I did a series for ABC on Kids in Poverty (years ago), and Lou saw it .. there was a homeless boy in it, who wanted only "food to eat, and a place to sleep". Lou contacted me, and told me he wanted to adopt him. Not easy at all, but he did it! He was extraordinary.

As someone who spent 35 years in the media, it is a great misperception that they are liberal. Most are totally apolitical, and the management is only about viewers, hits, ratings. Drama fuels that, and they run right to it. Add corporate interference and: today's disaster.

Emilio, I'm so sorry. I've had 5 spinal fusions, and years of extreme pain. It's hell, I know. But if the heating pad doesn't work, I strongly recommend lying on ice. Either put alot of cubes into a towel and wrap and stay on it, or get those gel packs to freeze. Good luck!!

Was with family member verging on MAGA .. who sat up and listened when Pence (and others in cabinet) refused to endorse Trump. First time anything had any impact on him.
