Hmm - that’s the last thing they are! Until I got my current wagon, Kona and Ioniq (Wind Knife) were always the easiest of the cars I have driven to achieve decent levels of efficiency - for those in the know the Kia/Hyundai/Genesis stable are the ones to go to if you want to get your best bang per electron!

More than I expected 🤷‍♂️ Reached 35,000 miles and - once it’s a bit warmer/drier - I’m soon to go crawling around and getting some average actual numbers. So, given previous wear and by visual check of the wear markers, I should exceed 40,000 comfortably….although I wanted to swap OEM summer tyres before winter….🤔 It’s a rear wheel drive; some while back, when investigating a puncture, I swapped front to back - wouldn’t normally bother on UK roads…. (Curb weight 1,760kg, btw)
