It’s more than just KYC, it’s identity. To 1. Unlock bringing DeFi into the real world 2. Go from 1 token 1 vote feudalism to people-centric governance 3. Have tools to solve global coordination problems and an AI onslaught But yeah, self-custodial, re-usable KYC has become such a need it’s getting hard to ignore.
Maybe the number one thing we need to make finance more efficient is solving the issue of portable KYC. Having to give to 100s of different people the same information under different standards is such a pain
