1/ Red flags at the local church No plural eldership set in place. New Testament oversight is 100% of the time an issue of local plurality, without fail. Joseph Mattera is on the record saying that a church that is 6 months old has no excuse for not having elders set in place.

The dividing line in the controversy with IHOPKC/ Bickle scandal is one side can count to 17, and the other side cannot. I had to take my work boots off to count that high, but I got there. We knew Nov '23 that the threshold of 3 was crossed.

@johnlambert @jburn revival is a byproduct of hearts right with God, who are believing God - and God responding in that context. It's not a prime product, or a primary pursuit. And it's seasonal. anyone portraying it as a constant reality is probably selling something you don't want to buy.

@Salty_Simonson @gew984757 @riecker None of the apostles left behind the idea of one bishop over a city. They did leave behind that a bishop (overseer) was the same thing as an elder or pastor. Ignatius' statement is contrary to the apostles as recorded in scripture. Ignatius is NOT scripture.
