It is happening due to dissimilar materials between the bolts and the door jams.
It DID NOT leave the factory or get delivered like this… how is that not very obvious to every one?
Mine did the same exact thing. I fixed it in 2 minutes with a star bit and loctite…

You hydroplaned. You should ensure your tires have plenty of tread to not risk your families life. My wife also hydroplaned and I will never let tires get that bad again.

Simple fix, but this will eventually happen to every truck made this far in my opinion. The bolts are backing out due to dissimilar materials and the very heavy doors. Needs 5c of loctite.

No, exact thing happened to mine. Just need to shift and tighten the starbit bolts on the door striker. I added a little loctite for good measure. Mine developed after about 500 miles. Easy fix but annoying.

You could have kept any of those cars and they would still be getting updates. My car from 2018 is performing amazingly well - much better than when purchased. You could have also waited and transferred that software to a new car at certain periods, including now. 🤕

My 2018 model 3 has now completed this drive on its own for the first time without any takeovers. 76 miles of city streets with multiple “complex” situations. This is signal. The rest is noise.
