I don’t get why there are two beg buttons here. Why would I want to cross one road but not the other? What am I gonna do chill in the middle? It doubles the wait time for pedestrians when it could be a single phase crossing.

They couldn’t make Eldon garden more inhospitable if they tried. The central atrium now boarded up to become a leisure unit. The route through now a narrow corridor with blind corners.

The CM Northbound is set to remain closed into next week following the large fire at a disused building in the city centre.
The fire has severely impacted the structural integrity of the building and so it remains unsafe to re-open at present.
