Absolutely. The Twitter discourse seems to apply a blanket rule to a situation which absolutely can be more granular. The best educator for each topic can be determined based on the topic, the teaching aims, the level of the student and the teaching setting.

If I was ill I'd be triaged in ED just as anyone else would and I'd actively resist any VIP treatment as I recognise that that kind of thing leads to significantly worse patient outcomes. Don't project what you would do on to others

I'm not sure AAs are truly the more dangerous of those options. They're simply going to be more visibly causing significant harm rather than the hidden poor quality care delivered in GP and ED that will result in significantly greater morbidity and mortality before being detected

Of course I know what she means. She means she hasn't been seen I'm ED because she doesn't consider the review by EM physicians as being seen. Furthermore she, a JD in the depths of Dunning Kruger expects to be treated by only those more senior than her. Expects more than others

No she needs Access Block removed so they can see her on the ward and no longer reports that she hasn't been seen in ED. I don't want specialist's to come down so much as I want specialist's and resource deficits to stop blocking patients leaving the back of ED after we diagnose

I spent a bit of time working in Australia and there's no blanket ban on individuals with autism working or gaining Permanent Residency there. In fact I knew a few colleagues who had diagnosed Autism and had no problem gaining it.
