Playing for Reading FC Women the year before I moved to America was a dream come true. As a lifelong Royal putting on that kit was such an honor. It hurts my heart the way this vital part of the club is being treated. The current players deserve so much more.💙 #ReadingFC
A separate takeover bid had come in, willing to fund the women's team due to Dai Yongge's unwillingness. Only a day or two ago it looked like it would be the saviour, but things change quick in football. Incredibly sad day for sport in Berkshire #readingfc
