Thank you everyone for your concerns. Brett just made it home and we see a specialist tomorrow it will be a long hard road but very luck this wasn’t worse from what doctors told me.

In the last two days I’ve heard of two different programs telling kids after the portal closed that they have no money or spots for them. I’m sorry that’s BS if you don’t want a player be upfront and tell him early so he can find a home for next season.

The best way I can put it as a coach is Jaron is a baseball player and a winner . Every time he steps on the field you know he’s going to flat out compete and do something to make you win .

I don’t know if he will play at the D1 level but I know it won’t be from not having the work ethic . He went out twice today to hit for a couple hours . Very proud of work ethic.

Here one. Yesterday I got a call from NCSA and I let the guy know I didn’t appreciate them lying to me that Rob wanted us to join the guy tried to tell me Rob is 100% behind them . So I told him let’s call Rob he hung up.

Grant is a football power and deserves everything they got this year. Their years in SFL was bad timing moved into the top league at their lowest point. The SFL is a different beast too . The D 1 finals both SFL teams and 3 of the final 4 D2 were SFL schools .

Great game today at Jesuit between Granite Bay Jv and Jesuit. It went down to last pitch Jesuit winning 6-5 . Today Brett went 3-4 2b 2 rbi very proud of how he’s playing .

It’s kind of sad all these comments are negative . It sounds like all the people that say do you know the odds of getting a scholarship are . How about let the kid be happy wherever he goes and gets an education . There’s no guarantee he will play at any school. Let him be happy.

I got one better than this . We’re going back to school full board 40 kids in class Pe in the gym but we have to stay in pods of 9 for baseball practice and no basketball practices allowed in gyms.

I agree seasons to long high school kids shouldn’t play 15 games . I also hate starting the season in beginning of August. We talk about safety of the kids but let’s play 15 game and first 8 are in 95 plus weather.

I think your born with a clutch gene or your not . There’s superstars that don’t want the last shot or being up with two outs and game on the line. But then there’s guys that thrive for it like Robert Horry or Madison Baumgardner bigger than game better the player.

You do realize the Kings were a lottery team before Monte. You don’t have to agree with everything I don’t but he’s changed the franchise. We don’t know what he tried or what was available. I wanted Pj Washington but Mavs gave more than we could do.

I hate say this but my sons biggest growth in baseball was during the Covid period. We got up at 6:30 lifted did individual drills ate around 8:30 then went to cages and field from 9:30 to 12:30 at lunch took nap . Then was up around 3 did speed stuff then did long toss .

To me it makes no since to play football if there’s no fans . I can’t honestly have two kids tackle each other but two kids can’t sit by each other and watch but all of them go to school all week together makes no sense.

I was actually a ball boy for Grant with Vuk and Alby in early 80’s . My two uncles took me every Friday night. I will tell you this The G never has to explain themselves the support and love in community speaks for itself.
