@TheJupitersays @churchofengland @Keir_Starmer Safeguarding requires organisations to be held to account, transparent/open to scrutiny. Objectivity, no conflict of interests & NOT solely overseeing safeguarding. Sadly @churchofengland had opportunity to improve a system that has not prevented abuse/cover up, chose not to.

@nazirafzal As safeguarding Chair appointed by @churchofengland please do share yr views on models proposed for independent Safeguarding. The Response Group states ‘survivors expect too much’ when they receive so little. Victims/survivors need yr voice on this today🙏🏽
