Literally every person I know in Vic is looking to relocate to a different state as soon as borders reopen. They’re terrified they’ll be in lockdown again if there’s another wave - which is in no way out of the question. A mass exodus would have huge ramifications on other states

Today someone I was meeting who has chronic illness had to cancel. I replied saying that, as someone with chronic illness, I totally get it. Copied in was another colleague with chronic illness, who then asked what she could do. Imma calling it: sick people are the best.

I spent a lot of time with doctors. Or, more correctly, I now spend a lot of time on the phone or on Skype with doctors. Each specialist I speak to sounds utterly exhausted right now, overworked and under-supported. Yet they always take time to check I am safe + happy. Thank you.
