Had my last day of school today. Got straight A’s and a 3.97 gpa. LFG! Onto clinical externship after Labor Day!

The PA system is broken. PD brought him to the hospital. Released him 3 hrs later. He’s severely manic and back out on the street. They didn’t do a full psych evaluation because they aren’t “fully staffed,” they let him go. Lord, give me strength.

Update for people following: I talked to him. He’s going really fast, almost full blown. Since we’ve exhausted every outlet, we kinda just have to wait till something ridiculous happens and pd picks him up again.

Brad finally went to his house, slept for a few hours. (I’m estimating about 8 hrs in the last 3 days) Then back out on the streets. Getting progressively worse with delusions of grandeur. 😟

Mental Health should be a number one priority. Mentally ill have no outlets and resources. There’s no beds and not enough care in hospitals. The system has been broken and is still broken.
