Olive was a beautiful little cat, the first I ever had. I fondly remember the first time she came up to me and licked my face, it was one of the happiest moments of my life.
Shortly after we got her, we discovered she was pregnant. She went into labour and died last night.

As some of you may know, earlier this year I became physically disabled. Nearly one year ago I discovered that I had a benign spinal tumour, which was causing me a great deal of pain. In February, I had two surgeries to remove the tumour, which also took one of my nerves. 2/

This is one of the most beautiful, and heart-wrenching films of the 30s. It was so inspirational, it even directly resulted in the creation of one of Japan's best films from it's cinematic Golden Age (that's Tokyo Story btw).
