Maddie wasn’t aware she was trans when the game was made I don’t believe. In retrospect the game is a deeply trans story, however without that hindsight the “intended” message was about more generalised anxiety and depression.

Compressing everything would just make load times insufferable. The reason file sizes for AAA games is often things like in game cosmetics and stuff.

Couple months ago I was talking to a mum who has a trans kid at the same school I went to. She mentioned how he even had trans friends. 2 years. So happy for them

Often think about my friend who’s aunty is 65 and she came out as trans just two years ago. I don’t know her well enough to know what regrets she does or doesn’t have. What I do know is that the few times I’ve met her she seems *so* happy. That’s all that really matters.
