Giving it back would be better in a donation towards a charity, IMO.

I had two very hard c-sections.
My ex-husband was given a week each time. It wasnโt enoughโฆI had to ask other people for help because recovery was about a month and I had two kids under a year old. It was hard.

My problem was that they asked my then husband (note: not me) if my tubes needed to be tiedโฆboth times. Twice, they asked him and not me.
That was only 10 years ago and in the Bay Area.
