Loans for graduate school are particularly foolish because good grad programs pay you a stipend and cover attendance costs. Even no-loan medical school is possible, although those programs are very competitive. This looks like you are trying to fix the wrong problem.
For the people who voted to cap student loans…this is how much a BS, MS, and doctorate degree costs. Way more than $200,000.

Try leading with the plot of the book or a sales pitch beyond "this book exists and after several clicks, you could buy it".
How do you get readers to believe in you and your work? . I truly believe that Hemmed In will find its readers one day. 🤍 I’ve sold 16 copies of it so far, and had 973 pages read from it but I know that it can do so much better! . All my book links are in my bio and 📍.

No. I definitely read some formulaic series for what happens to the main characters. What will Ranger have to do to rescue Stephanie and Lula?. How will Win's resources help Myron?. How long until Hawk does magic for Spenser?. Stephanie, Myron, and Spenser are uninteresting.
Readers don't care what *happens* to your protagonist. They care what your protagonist *does* in response.

I LARP as a reader, but I have failed at my reading goal of 100 books by the end of 4th of July weekend. I only have a lousy 88 and I spent no time today telling folks about the book I just started (The Manhattan Hunt Club) and hardly any time whining about yesterday's read.
Who here loves to read? I bet not one person on my timeline is a reader. Like it's 2025, who reads anymore. Hehehe. I'm closing X for the night and I'm probably going to wake up to some craziness. Goodnight all!! Love ya!.

$10k is not enough if you're finanacially struggling and it's not compelling if you are already secure with easier ways to get a raise or minor side gig. The increased taxes at an individual level will adversely affect folks who can't afford a kid at a lousy $10k trade-off.
It's genuinely amazing to me that people will actually say, "If we paid for a $10,000/yr/kid child allowance by raising taxes on people with no kids at home, it would not impact fertility at all.". Of course it would have a huge impact!. That's why it's hard to pass!.

Authors, this is why certain characters don't work. Effeminate homosexual men do not have the same worldview as teenage girls. Experienced soldiers are not interchangeable with novice priests.
this particular train of thought feels characteristically feminine or MAYBE female (using the paglian distinction) to me. very difficult for me to imagine a man writing these paragraphs and its not just because education industry is like 90% women. can't put my finger on why tho.
