If the value/cost of a house was up 9% two years ago, 5% last year and 3% this year, has the price gone down?
No. It’s continued to go up.
But, it’s not going up as quickly. And that’s being spun as “inflation is coming down”.

Close family friends lost their oldest son (age 36) last week - just got back from the funeral.
He had a normal day (Wednesday), was crushing it at work, texted with friends/family that evening, FaceTimed with his girlfriend before bed.
