With my players this week in the cage. College kids. Had Hit Traxx set up. Instead of trying to get better at hitting, they were all trying to win Batting Practice on the simulator.
I unplugged the damn thing and we had a real practice.

Can’t take strike 3 there, but give some credit to the pitcher for location.
That spot is tough for a guy like Vogelbach to make good contact. His swing is designed to launch pitches on inner third.
