Hey the world am reaching to you calling for support and some donations for the Queer community in kakuma camp. The queers are going through relentless attacks, rapes, verbal assaults, shortage of food, medication, safe water & all sorts of discrimination.

We call upon all humanitarian persons and bodies to stand with LGBTQS in kakuma and kalobeyei refugee camp in our struggle of advocacy for equal rights and freedom plus some donations for our survival.
With all the situation we are going thru back home in uganda & also here in kakuma camp.we decided to organise a pride party to spread love & solidarity in this precious time.I kindly request the queer community to support us via our fundraiser below:
Life sometimes become a disgrace, most esspecially the queers living in rigid communities where hospitality is far away. Acceptance & denial can't be in the same sentence. If its love lets love all and if its denial lets deny all.
You can't enjoy love while denying others.
sexual identities has become so difficult for the Africans to understand but this has not stopped us 4m showing our existence to the world although we are going through a terrible situation consisting of savage attacks, denied access to free medication, food, education e.t.c.
Transition doesn't cause trauma in the world. it’s society's hatred, malice, envy and bigotry that turn people prone to trauma related to our own identities. Trauma derives from social set up & can be stopped. Also Consider supporting the queers
Uganda shouldn't only revoke the Anti-Homosexuality Act but also let them be accountable for the ongoing violations against the LGBTI community in the country.
We are living a miserable life in kakuma camp because of unfair treatment against us back in uganda.

UNHCR and the gov't of kenya want to force LGBTS to be intergrated in a homophobic and transphobic community that has no laws governing our rights. This has increased fear among the Queer family and we really need urgent intervention from humanitarian bodies.
Hi every one! Am here by thanking whoever have been there for us in either ways or the other. Let us keep that spirit, our enemies will latter on understand that it's just a sexual orientation. The hearts folded with hate will latter be folded by joy.
I trust the queeer family all over the world. we are really in danger of persecutions, torture, discrimination based on our sexual orientation and also our lesbians are rapped every day. whoever seeing this share it , advocate for us and support us.
the importance of these safe spaces for queer and trans folks of many age groups. In case you are a queer or trans person who needs a listening ear or mental health support, one avenue could be to reach out to a Trevor Project counselor:
Thats good to show the love and solidarity. lets also consider the queers who fled from their countries of origin to kakuma refugee camp expecting safety and protection. Unfortunately their lives are languishing in misery. Please save their lives via

I’ve been keeping this quiet for a while now… not intentionally, just because it took from Aug-Jan to get the bloody paperwork, then I got pneumonia the week it all happened.
But, after 7 years, Lew and I have finally moved in together. In a place we bought. In Walthamstow.

Being a queer in kakuma, its like being a rebel against the millitary government in Africa. The gov't does all it can to slash away the rebels. The context of the matter is the queers are enduring alot comprised of relentless attacks, rapes & discrimination of all sorts.
With all these challenges, It has promoted us to live in fear, keeping low profiles to avoid discrimination, attacks and legal consequences.

Every million miles starts with one step. All the queers in the world dont loose hope though there is torture, persecution, abduction, intimidation, imprisonment and discrimination based on our identity. On friday we were denied access to food just because of what we are "QUEER"
The hearts of straight people are folded with hate and bigotry. Just a mere look at you pumps out the inner negative feeling of a homo.

I hate the way magats have latched onto the word ‘groom.’ By the way, you can NOT groom a child to be gay or transgender - they are born that way, but, you CAN groom a child to be a racist and homophobe.
The hard life LGBTIQ+ people face in the camp of kakuma. Sometimes we do think of commiting suicide to get relieved but we still have the message to pass to the current generation and future generation. We do face homophobia from straight people inside and outside the camp.
