🦷 There isn't a single dental surgery in
#Ipswich
currently accepting new adult patients on the NHS.
Yet, when he had the chance to rescue NHS dentistry, Tom Hunt voted against Labour's plans for more dentists and more appointments.
He's all mouth and no trousers.
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our friend and colleague, Cllr Sophie Connelly.
Sophie will be remembered for her hard work, wonderful friendship and joie de vivre.
She leaves a huge gap in the lives of those who knew her.
Our thoughts are with her loving family.
One minute Tom Hunt is helping get rid of Boris Johnson, the next he's begging for his endorsement.
He recently tried to run away to another constituency, and flirted with joining another party.
Tom Hunt's priorities:
1. Tom Hunt
...
Party, Ipswich and country a distant 2nd.
We are incredibly concerned that the Conservative MP for Ipswich, Tom Hunt, continues to cast doubt on the far right's presence in Ipswich.
We hope he recognises the important position he holds, apologises, and finally, unequivocally, condemns extremism.
Bryony Rudkin has served as Borough Councillor in Bridge ward for 16 years. She has campaigned for transport and parking solutions and against inappropriate development, as well as supporting local community groups.

Our plan to keep Ipswich safe by putting more police on our streets is being well received.
The Post Office scandal affected sub-postmasters across the country.
At first, Ipswich's Conservative MP, Tom Hunt, backed the Post Office's spin.
Then he simply ignored the desperate pleas for help.
He didn't want to know.
🪂 From Ely to Doncaster to Ipswich, the Tory candidate has been on a 300 mile round trip desperately trying to get elected.
🌹 In contrast, Ipswich has been Sandy Martin's home for 26 years.
Only one candidate truly cares about our town in this election.

The UK tax burden is set to reach its highest level for 75 years, and we are now facing the largest reduction in real living standards since records began.
It's little wonder when Ipswich's Conservative MP, Tom Hunt, voted for a staggering 25 tax rises in just four years.
"I want us to manufacture wind turbines, solar panels and other technologies here in Suffolk, not keep outsourcing to other countries." -

Suffolk can be the beating heart of our country’s net zero future with Labour.
Under the Tories, the UK is being left behind in the global race for skilled jobs.
Labour’s Green Prosperity Plan will create quality jobs, grow the economy, cut the cost of living, and make Britain a clean energy superpower.

We’ll pay for this by abolishing non-dom tax status, to make sure that the mega-rich who live here pay tax here.

Labour is the party of families because Labour is the party of working people. We will build a better Ipswich where no child is left behind.
Labour has a plan to tackle the cost of living crisis. Help with energy bills funded by a windfall tax on oil and gas companies, no National Insurance rise, AND Labour councils charge an average of £300 less in council tax. Seems the Conservatives have other priorities…

Voters in Castle Hill are getting ready to send the Conservatives a message on 2 May and let them know exactly how they feel after 14 years of Tory economic failure.
Starting off in the wards where we have two councillors to elect. In Priory Heath, sitting councillor Roxanne Downes is joined by first time Labour candidate, Owen Bartholomew. Both candidates live in South East Ipswich, and are already working hard for Priory Heath ward.
Our thoughts are with the family, friends, colleagues and constituents of Southend West MP, David Amess. An assault on democracy is an assault on us all.
This International Women's Day, we celebrate all our inspirational women councillors for everything they do to build a better Ipswich.

Under the Conservatives, Ipswich has taken a hammering. They crashed the economy, but the rest of us are paying the price.
Labour has a plan to get our town, and our country, moving again, and after 13 long years of failure it’s time for change.
Sorry to inform you of the death of Jim Powell earlier today. Jim served Bridge ward for 36 years as councillor, and was a popular figure across the town.
Over recent days,
@sarahbarber1972

We will keep holding Conservative run Suffolk county council to account to improve our pavements and potholes.
Only Labour can build a better Ipswich.
The Conservatives have totally failed to deal adequately with asylum applications.
The collapse in Home Office asylum decisions to 14,000 a year, half the level of 6 years ago, has created backlog, delays and costs.
We are seeing the awful consequences.
Our Bixley candidate is university lecturer and writer, Paul Anderson, who has lived on Woodbridge Road for 20 years. Paul grew up in Dorchester Road in Bixley ward and seeks support from Bixley residents on 2nd May, so he can set to work for you.
Congrats to Catherine Bosley from Monk Soham who won an iPad in our New Year draw. Receiving her prize Catherine said "I joined the Red Rose Labour Tote because the funds raised help to support Labour’s campaign. I was amazed and delighted to win!" Play at

With my neuro-diverse, creative and design background, I will bring fresh ideas and creativity for the benefit of Stoke Park.
Kim served as a county councillor for 8 years, serving on the County's Permanance Panel placing children with adoptive families. She taught for 2 years at Castle Hill Primary before starting a law conversion course, and now works for Kerseys Solicitors.
Is your school on the list?
These cuts will lead to larger class sizes, reduced subject choice and less individual support for children.
For teachers it means more real-terms pay cuts, more unmanageable workloads and less time to teach each child.
Adam Rae has served as a councillor for Alexandra Ward for the last five years. He has lived in Alexandra ward for more than 30 years, so is truly local to the ward. Adam asks for support from local voters on 2nd May, so that he can continue to support you.
The Conservatives think helping families with the cost of living crisis is silly. But Labour is on your side, and Labour has a plan - fully funded by a tax on the bumper profits of oil and gas companies. That’s why it so important to vote Labour on Thursday May 5th.
